Rare Zoo poster by Kay Nixon (1895 – 1988). The Calcutta Zoo is now called the Zoological Garden, Alipore and is India’s oldest zoo and a huge tourist attraction in Kolkata, West Bengal.
It has been a zoo since 1876.
This original lithographic poster dates from around 1930 and was commissioned by the East India Railway company.
